On this special edition of Defrag This, we celebrate by cutting the ribbon to Ipswitch's new headquarters, commemorate the 1 year anniversary of Ipswitch's EMEA Center of Excellence in Ireland, and team up with the Wonderfund to help children in need.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Wonderfund MA Event

The new Ipswitch headquarters symbolizes an exciting future at Ipswitch. It also represents our willingness to build strong relationships in and outside of work, as well as in the community. That’s why we teamed our new office unveiling with the Wonderfund Project to support children placed in the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.

The Wonderfund provides both emergency assistance such as clothing, toiletries and an age-appropriate item of comfort like a teddy bear for children being removed from unsafe homes and also funds enrichment opportunities like summer camp, music and art lessons, equipment and league fees for sports and other activities that can change the course of children’s lives for the better.IMG_0570.jpg

We even had the honor of having some high profile guests at Ipswitch, such as Massachusetts First Lady and Vice Chair of Wonderfund, Lauren Baker. But that’s not all.

In addition to the Wonderfund, Ipswitch supports a variety of organizations globally that are meaningful to its employees and families. Contributions include financial support, community service and other in-house volunteer opportunities. Some of the many organizations touched by the generosity of Ipswitch staff include City Year, The Ron Burton Training Village, Red Nose Day, Habitat for Humanity and the Galway Hospice. Ipswitch’s iCare program enables staff to have meaningful impact in their local communities, as well as across geographies and causes.

Ipswitch Commemorates 1 Year in Galway, Ireland

This week also commemorates the 1-year anniversary of the grand opening of Ipswitch's Galway, Ireland office. Siobhán HanleyVice President at IDA Ireland worked hard to get Ipswitch situated in Galway last year and also tells us that Ireland has become it's own Silicon Valley of sorts in Europe. Opening an office in Ireland has many benefits and has been a huge milestone for Ipswitch, no doubt.

Thanks to everyone to made the ribbon cutting a very special day. It was a tremendous effort and we loved all the support.
