Progress has just released MOVEit 2020, the latest version of their award-winning secure and managed file transfer solution.

That’s a big deal because not only does it deliver enhanced cloud, integration, and performance capabilities, it also comes with a completely new mobile app.

Wait, didn’t MOVEit already have a mobile app? Yes, but the new MOVEit Mobile 2.0 app has some big improvements over the previous version. It’s got a completely new, cleaner, clearer, and easier-to-use interface. It now supports MOVEit Cloud and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Oh, and did we mention that it’s now free?

MOVEit Mobile Available on iOS and Android

Anyone running MOVEit version 2019.2 or later can now download MOVEit Mobile 2.0 for free for iOS or Android. No specialized servers or licenses are required, and you can deploy it to as many users as you’d like for their phones, tablets, or other mobile devices.  Our goal here is to put the capabilities of MOVEit in everyone’s pocket so they can securely transfer files wherever they are and whenever they need to. MOVEit 2020 Adds Azure Blob Storage Support

MOVEit 2020 also includes several other improvements designed to make your life easier. We’ve added native support for Azure Blob storage in MOVEit Automation to make it simpler than ever to integrate MOVEit into your hybrid cloud architectures. That means more detailed file histories and no more custom scripting requirements. Check it out in action here.

Government of Canada Is Happy with the New MOVEit

We’ve also created a new, customizable classification field for Ad Hoc transfers. You can set a custom security classification in any language, on any transfer and even enforce it as mandatory. We developed this to support a custom workflow for the Government of Canada who told us, “This ad hoc classification feature is exactly what we needed, and Progress has delivered exactly what we had in mind.” You can see a demonstration here.
